As we embark upon the last week of lessons, I am full of gratitude to have been able to spend the entire year teaching in person! So much has changed but the one thing that has remained constant is music. Not even a pandemic could stop our deep desire to make and listen to music. I know for me, it has been the biggest blessing and has gotten me through times when everything seemed hopeless. Joel, Bianca and I thank all of you for making this possible. From sharing you and your children to being so cooperative in keeping us all healthy - we are grateful. Wishing you all a happy and healthy summer!

As I reflect back on another pandemic year, I am very much aware of how music and teaching has been a healing and comforting presence in my life. It has been my escape and my safe place. I think about all of the dramatic changes in the lives of my students - and I am reminded how important it is that they have an outlet to express their fears, sorrows, joys and hope. Being a part of their lives by sharing my passion, is truly an honor and privilege and one that I am grateful for each and every day. I wish all of our families a Holiday season full of love, joy, and hope. And a Happy, Healthy New Year filled with MUSIC!

Greetings Students/Families/Faculty and Staff!
As I write this, it is a crisp, cool late Summer morning and I am reflecting on a summer that just flew by. Summer is my favorite season! The sights, sounds, colors, smells - the ocean, long, lazy days and just a time to reconnect with friends and family! This past summer I was able to visit with just about everyone on my list - I read a lot of great books, hiked with my beloved Daisy, gardened - made some fabulous meals, swam, slept in, cleaned and organized every drawer and closet in my house and studio and practiced voice and piano a whole lot! What an amazing summer it was! I have so many fond memories and feel rested and rejuvenated for the year to come. I will be honest and say that I have some trepidation going into another year of the pandemic. But I am comforted by knowing that I have a studio full of wonderful, loving, caring families and faculty. As they say - the music must play on - and so, I wish you all a happy, healthy year ahead and I look forward to creating beautiful music with all of you!
